Seeing traces of the cow

When you begin, the story will be a dead thing, an idea.

“The man who could not eat the color red.”

This is all it will be. You’ll have this idea, and many others.

“The fish that feel in love with the moon,” “A rainy night homeless in Capetown,” “The man who could not eat the color red,” “A life of thirteen years in a one foot by six inch glass tank,”
“The sound of bells on a lake only dreamed,”

Some of these ides will seem good. Some of these ideas will seem bad, but they are all equivalent; mere ideas.

None will grab you immediately and scream, “I’m a Vogel winner!” but there will be some that appeal to you more than others.

When you are looking, all stories are equal; choose one you like, there is no limit to what that story can contain.

Hi,

I like this novel (no pun intended) idea. And to make sure I follow the developments, I have faved you in Technorati. :-)--Durano,done!

It is always exciting, to take a mere idea and let the imagination change and expand it until it has become a little story, ready to live within the hearts and the minds of the readers.

@ Durano, Thanks for the Technorati Fave = ) In the next week I’ll be posting samples of the art work, just to let people know what they’re in store for. I like the idea, because if I can tell one story (the graphical novel side) without words, I’m proving the principal of story telling- you did know that the pictures tell a story while “The Anatomy…” text is out of context? It’s hard to explain how this will work, but check out the sample pages when they come online- that’ll show exactly what I mean.

Durano can be found at “The spitting vessel” what he describes as the place we deposit all the things that are hard to swallow, and it’s a good description of his blog. Durano takes the world around us and all the crazy stupid thoughtless things we sometimes do, as individuals and as a people. You can find “The Spitting vessel” on the links bar or at http://spittingvessel.blogspot.com/

@ Ray. Thanks, Ray. I think that the thrill of creating a living story is what keeps me coming back for more. To improve my writing, to improve my ability to tell a story, I have to write, and it’s that glimpse, every onece in a while, of great writing that keeps me at the desk.

Take the time to check out Ray’s blog “The Esoterical Journey” Ray delves into the living life, and how we relate with the world on a very Zen like level. Every bit as human and clear as “The Tao of Pooh” and as instructional as “The book of Five rings”

Tom has been sick, very sick, horribly sick, and forced to run around the city like a madman trying to identify himself.

Really.

Heh, I’ll explain it further on my other blog.

I missed my post yesterday, I don’t often do that at all. It’s all I can do today to answer comments, hopefully I can roll out the post today = )

Normal consciousness will be resumed shortly.
